ABOUT
IN FULL BLOOM MI
When people ask me “Why flower farming? What makes this your passion?” I reflect to my childhood. From the time I could remember, I was always out with my grandparents and dad digging in the dirt, picking flowers in the garden, or riding tractors.

With being the only girl grandchild on my mom’s side, I am forever grateful to my Bumpa Temple for always teaching me and including me in his hobbies he immersed all his grandchildren in. My Bumpa, with his degree in Agriculture from MSU, would either be found out in a pickle field surveying the land, on a tractor, or fixing antique cars. He taught me that’s it’s okay to get dirty as long as you’re doing what you love.

My Grandma Sadilek had a love of flowers and gardening. Whenever I visited her we would spend hours weeding and learning the varieties of flowers and vegetables in her garden. Farming on her land makes me feel that a piece is forever with me. It’s like she’s right there with me, head to toe in dirt trying to figure out how to plant the flowers and care for them. She taught me so many skills that I will always use throughout my life.

My Grammie Temple always had beautiful English gardens in which we would pick flowers from and arrange. I remember going out to her garden with her and making arrangements and giving them to friends and family to brighten their day. These memories I will cherish forever and sparked my love for floral arranging.

While my Grandma Sadilek and Grandpa Temple may be gone, all three of my grandparents in my life impacted me forever and I am so grateful that through the experiences I had with them, it lead my to my passion of flower farming and being a florist Without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today!
